Multiple account instant messaging

eBuddy lets you connect to most popular messaging networks, so you can chat wherever you are.

This free chat app is supported by ads, but fortunately they are really not intrusive, and you'll hardly notice them at all. Like any messaging client you need an account, which means first creating an eBuddy account before adding other web messengers.

eBuddy supports lots of networks - MSN, Yahoo!, AIM, Google Talk, Facebook, ICQ, MySpace and Hyves. Adding them to the app is as simple as entering your details, and you'll be automatically signed in. All your account contacts will be listed alphabetically, in online and offline groups. This is fine, but if you're signed into lots of services it can get pretty busy!

eBuddy is very user friendly, and you'll have no problems opening chats with your friends. Each service varies slightly, but in general, chats follow the 'bubble' design seen in the iPhone's SMS app. It works in portrait or landscape, great for people who like the larger keyboard.

eBuddy is a functional and attractive messaging client, offering a good range of networks in an easy to use package.

The Best Free iPhone Instant Messenger. Where as Meebo is the best Instant Messenger for Android, eBuddy is the best for iPhone. eBuddy allows you to hide your offline buddies and it doesn't suffer from the same connection problems as the Android version does. The only downsides to eBuddy is it is set to sign off once closed by default and can at max signs off after 12 hours of being inactive. There is no way to have it always stay on. The ads in the free version can also be annoying as well as the sign in message that pops up any time your signed into the same AIM account in multiple locations. This being the best free Instant Messenger for iPhone I recommend this to everyone. Just make sure to set it to not sign off for 12 hours or you might be signed off once you close it out. Make sure you also allow for push notification so you know when someone messages you as well. Pros: Less Connection Problems Than Android VersionPush NotificationsFree Cons: Ads For Free VersionNo Way To Keep eBuddy Always Signed InPopups Each Time Your Signed In On The Same AIM Account.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
